“Eve” means “life-giver”. God, the One who created each one of
us, gave woman the ability to have babies, to give life with her body. Her physical body is a nurturing home,
giving nutrients, blood, oxygen, the very necessities of life, to grow another
human being inside of her. Her
body also protects this baby from outside elements that might be
dangerous…until just the right time…when that baby can breathe on his/her
own. A miracle! As that tiny body incrementally grows, God
is forming every intricate detail of the body, mind, and soul. Thank God for the gift of giving
life…and the son or daughter He’s given you. This is a significant season in your life—to be a mom to the
precious child He’s chosen to give you!
Psalm 139:13-15
“For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s
womb. I praise you because I am fearfully
and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full
well. My frame was not hidden from
you when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in
the depths of the earth.”
